India Budget News Live Updates: As India approaches the Union Budget 2026, retail and logistics leaders are calling for policy measures that support resilient growth, boost consumption, and lower logistics costs to strengthen India’s competitiveness.

“The upcoming Budget is a pivotal opportunity to move from recovery to resilient growth. Following the GST reforms in personal care, policies that incentivise sustainability and simplify regulations are critical. From the logistics and technology side, Soham Chokshi, Co-founder and CEO, Shipsy, said India needs a more unified, outcome-driven policy approach. “Lowering logistics costs is essential to making Indian manufacturing globally competitive.
