Rockstar Games’ upcoming title, GTA 6, is releasing this year on November 19, 2026, with several other games currently rumored to be on the slate for a later period. In the past couple of years, Rockstar has cemented its position at the top of the video game industry with titles like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. They have set the bar too high for game developers around the globe.
Even their upcoming game, GTA 6, has the eyes of the entire world, as its release is expected to change the landscape of worldwide gaming forever. The pressure is on Rockstar, as the fans expect them to stand firmly on their expectations after achieving continuous success.

Grand Theft Auto 6

Red Dead Redemption 2‘s marvellous open-world and detailed experience have fans wanting more. Presumably, only GTA 6 could rival RDR 2‘s realistic experience and leave fans in awe. At least, that’s the goal of the developers as they are taking their time developing the game. It has been delayed multiple times, as it was originally anticipated for 2025. Previously, it got pushed to May 26, 2026, due to developmental issues, and now it’s finally releasing on November 19, 2026.
Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake

Remedy Entertainment is currently working with Rockstar Games to bring back their classic titles, Max Payne 1 & 2, with modern settings. We don’t have a confirmed release date for the games yet, but they are under full production as per their latest financial statement.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Enhanced

An enhanced version of RDR 2 has been rumored for quite some time now. It was made for consoles like the PS4, so it misses out on capitalizing on the PS5’s true power. Sadly, the game does not even run at 60 FPS on consoles, as fans have been requesting a current-gen update for years. Perhaps 2026 could be the year when the devs finally listen to the fans by releasing an enhanced version of RDR 2.
Max Payne 3 Port

Several industry chatters claim that a Max Payne 3 remaster is also under development at the time of writing. Rumors are that it’s being developed to be released on modern consoles such as PS5, Xbox Series X, and Series S. Moreover, many fans believe that the port can be bundled with Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake, as a complete trilogy.
GTA 4 Port

GTA 4 is one of the most underrated games in the Grand Theft Auto series, as it has been overlooked by fans for over a decade now. It received its flowers years after the release in 2008 for PS3 and Xbox 360. GTA 4 still needs a fresh port for current-gen consoles, so the fans can finally beat the game without facing many issues, like FPS drops and tearing graphics, to say the least.
