Riyadh: SAL Logistics Services, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s national leader in air cargo handling, logistics solutions, and supply chain management, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft Arabia on the sidelines of LEAP 2026, to explore collaboration opportunities across digital transformation, digital logistics, data, artificial intelligence, and customer experience.
The MoU establishes a framework for exploring potential areas of collaboration between the two parties and leveraging Microsoft’s technological capabilities and expertise to support SAL’s digital transformation roadmap and its future ambitions in digital logistics.
Potential areas of collaboration include leveraging artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and data analytics, alongside developing digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and exploring innovative use cases that can be applied across SAL’s operations, and supporting sustainability initiatives.
The MoU marks the beginning of a structured dialogue between SAL and Microsoft Arabia to identify areas where their complementary expertise can support the continued development of the logistics sector in the Kingdom. Through this collaboration, the two parties will explore opportunities to advance innovation, develop supply chain capabilities, and contribute to the Kingdom’s ambition to become a leading global logistics hub, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
