TechFest 2026 shortlist revealed | Construction News
The shortlist for TechFest Awards 2026 has been announced.
In total, 185 finalists were shortlisted across 21 categories, highlighting achievements in the construction and civil engineering industries that make the most of technological innovations.
The TechFest conference and awards is a joint effort between Construction News and New Civil Engineer, as a forum to share and uncover ideas for digital transformation across the industry.
Kori Construction, Oktra, Reds10, Sir Robert McAlpine and Ultrabeam are shortlisted for the Digital Contractor of the Year award.
The tier one Balfour Beatty Vinci joint venture is battling it out with the likes of John Sisk & Son, Laing O’Rourke and Mace for the Digital Construction Project of the Year title.
Sisk is shortlisted in four categories including Digital Transport Project of the Year, while Laing O’Rourke is a contender for nine trophies and Mace and Kori are each shortlisted for three awards.
AtkinsRéalis has the most shortlisted entries this year with 21, in categories ranging from Best use of Technology: Digital Construction to Tech and Digital Team of the Year.

The awards event, sponsored by Stantec, will be held on 25 November at Hilton Metropole London.
